Alexis Ross and Murphy:
This photo was taken by Michael Rogers (www.mdr-photo.co.uk) at Borde Hill horse trials. I absolutely love it. Murphy had just given me one of the most brilliant cross country rounds in sweltering heat. The course had been causing all sorts of problems and I was feeling like I had over faced myself. I needn’t have worried as Murphy skipped round clear inside the time to give us our first Open Novice placing together as a combination. I think Michael captured the moment brilliantly. The corner combination had been giving me nightmares the night before! It was the most incredible feeling galloping away from it knowing we had got it spot on. I was full of overwhelming gratitude and pride for my wonderful horse.
