JoJoSox Competition – CLOSED

Screen shot 2014-03-07 at 09.22.40At BETA we were lucky enough to meet Joanna Godwin and her daughter Jessica, the founders of Jojosox. This is an American make of quality socks, available in different materials (including woven bamboo, as pictured, fine-combed cotton, and Coolmax EcoMade Fiber, a high-performance fabric) and in absolutely loads of completely gorgeous colours, patterns, and lengths.

The website is here  if you want to read the whole story, and they are available to buy in the UK from Wish Box USA, here. This is a great site which sells all sorts of American products which are hard to find in the U.K. I’m in heaven on that site!

This gorgeous blue/green zig-zag is called the Allison, after top US event rider Allison Springer. >>>

Screen shot 2014-02-28 at 09.54.07 <<< This is the Chocolate-Praline zig-zag. I think I’m going to save up the money I would have spent on chocolate, which does me no good other than making my backside bigger (not ideal for eventing!), and put it in a “Chocolate-Praline sox” pot. I just LOVE these.

BAMBOOTZ are made using sustainable, organic Bamboo pulp. They are softer than cotton, with a texture similar to that of silk. Thin, but also durable, with a reinforced heel and toe, BAMBOOTZ are naturally antibacterial and hypoallergenic. They are also quick to absorb moisture, keeping your feet dry and odor-free making them the perfect year-round socks for keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. MADE IN THE USA.

We have a pair each of the Bambootz shown, the Allison, and the Chocolate-and-Praline, to give away in a competition. They are 1-size fits all, being wonderfully soft and stretchy, but also durable.

To enter, tell us why YOU deserve a pair of these, ideally with photographic evidence too!

Closing date for entries: Monday 24 March at noon.
The e-Venting team will decide on the deserving winners.
The judges’ decision is final.

Congratulations to winners Sarah Lee and twitter follow Aj who both have a pair of socks heading their way
