TOTD: Easy/small gymnastic exercises

IMG_7335Sometimes you may not necessarily want to jump big fences, so small gymnastic exercises are a good idea, and fun for both of you.

The first exercise is three small uprights on a short 1 stride distance each.
You can work on your position while loosening up the horse and improving its footwork.
Of course you can then make parts of the grid bigger if you choose.






IMG_7336The second exercise is in the corner of the arena, with 5m distances on the curving line.

This is the exercise shown here being done perfectly by former event rider and now GP show-jumper Peder Fredericson.

It is very good for showing which side your horse finds easier!
