After you finish at an event unless you are literally last to go take the time to watch other competitors especially in the higher classes. I find it very educational to see how riders ride certain questions, how they warm up and even how they cool down afterwards. By keeping your eye open you can pick up some great little hints and tips especially from watching the professionals.
