Tip of the Day: fluorescent jacket

20140312_125812Ah, Spring! The season of exciting hacks, unpredictable weather and shedding horses!! My “Tip of the Season” is to head off to your local bargain sports store and get yourself a super light weight fluorescent running shell jacket in a generous size. Keep it at the yard as an all purpose outer layer – it keeps you from getting covered in hair and means one less thing to think about when you want to just get on and go for a quick hack in the still limited daylight hours. Not very stylish but a cheap and cheerful way to keep the horse hair at the yard, where it belongs!
