In the past I have plaited overnight and the plaits have not looked good enough the next morning. Now I plait overnight using hair gel, put a lycra hood on and leave until the next morning. The plaits come out looking immaculate (unless you have a hooligan of a horse!) and it just needs to be removed before loading up to leave and saves me having to get up at crazy o clock to plait.

Neat neck cover! No danger of eyes getting covered up ? equine panic , as could happen with the head and neck ones. What make is your’s ?

Mine was an Ebay purchase. Its not perfect as it will come off the ears and slide down the neck towards the first plait but I would rather than than slipping and covering the eyes.
