A great article in Eventing Nation on seeing a distance to a jump. I am a natural choker, and then tend to over react and chase to a fence so this is a very useful reminder for me.

Lila Gendal writes some really pertinent things and another article I really enjoyed recently was about how riding nice horses ups your game. I was told years ago to sell one of my horses, as he was not worth the struggle. I ignored this trainer and carried on. I probably wasted several years and now I have a nice horse who is challenging in a different way but ultimately really tries for you and is a pleasure to ride and I have achieved more in 3 years than I did in several years with the other one.
