Following the abandonment at Howick, we’ve learnt something about how the text messages get to competitors if an event abandons. On your BE record (NB not your bdwp record, but www.britisheventing.com) you have a field called Phone Number and another field called Mobile. The text messages only go to the number in the “Mobile” field, so if you haven’t got a number in there, you won’t get the text message if an event abandons. Please put a mobile phone number in the “Mobile” field as shown in the screenshot above.
